Don't be a Halloween Mess!

With Halloween only about a week away, it's time to start thinking about what you are dressing up as. Are you going to be a wicked witch, an evil imp or a naughty nurse? Whatever your costume, I am sure that makeup is going to be part of it. And, since this IS a skincare blog, you need to remember to take care of your face before and after the tricks & treats are done.

So, picture this. You are finally home from that Halloween party or from going door-to-door with the kids. You take your costume off and head to the bathroom to get rid of the smeared makeup on your face. What are you going to use first? Warm water? Cleanser? Soap??

Nope - the correct answer is a reputable makeup remover. I have three removers that I want to show you. They are all equally great; it is up to you what your preference is.

First up are the fmg Makeup Remover Wipes. These unscented wipes gently and easily remove it all—from stubborn makeup to dirt and oil. Formulated with an extract blend of aloe, soothing chamomile, cucumber, marshmallow root and oat to soothe skin and antioxidant vitamin E.

The next remover I want you to consider is the Waterproof Lip & Eye Makeup Remover from The Face Shop. This powerful makeup remover features a dual-layer oil and water formula infused with a moisturizing blend of oils that leave skin fresh and clean. You can even use this with one of the other makeup removers for an even cleaner and fresher face!

The third make up removal product is the True Color Moisturizing Eye Makeup Remover Lotion. This is my fave and is also one the best-selling products in the Avon line. It works quickly and easily to gently remove all traces of eye makeup. Plus, it conditions and moisturizes your lashes and the fragile skin around your eyes.

As you can see, you don't have to be afraid of what makeup will do to your skin. With any of these makeup removers, you and your skin can breathe easy knowing that you are in good hands. Use one or all three - the choice is yours. But PLEASE use something other than plain soap and water to wash off the day's grime and grit. Soap will dry out your skin and you will lose the elasticity and glow.

The third makeup removal product is the ndy! You can get more information about this topic and so much more at avon.com/repstore/avonwithmismakeup
